Lord, Use my Reaction to my Circumstances to Show ….

Lord, use my reaction to my circumstances to show I put my trust in You.
The ways of God are without fault; The Lord’s words are pure. He is a shield to those who trust Him. ~ 2 Samuel 22:31 NCV

Have you ever overreacted to something? Perhaps you misheard something and reacted on what you thought you heard. Or possibly, you saw something and reacted based on what you ‘thought’ you saw. Overreaction is normal in humans as we tend to lean on our senses to tell us the truth. However, when you overreact to something, you are essentially saying that you don’t trust the situation to work out or end up in the way you ‘thought’ it should. It’s times like these that we need to remember that in every situation, God is in control and as His children, all circumstances are working out for our good. He loves us and is making sure our needs are taken care of on a daily basis. Ask God today how He can use you to show others how to trust Him with each and every reaction to the daily happenings in our life.

It’s 2014. Many are writing out their goals as to what they desire in 2014 and what they plan to release and leave behind in 2013. Goals are not just limited to getting your finances in order, writing that best selling book, and starting a new career. Some persons may want to be free from mistakes of the past, habits and actions that serve as bondages to an unproductive, negative and empty lifestyle. They want to be free from old habits and toxic relationships. They want to feel whole.

Know that you can begin again by first seeking the Lord, confessing your sin as the Word states God will forgive you if you confess your sin. 1 John 1:9. Seek God’s face in humble and fervent prayer consistently. 1 Thess 5:17 Study the Word and get the emotional and spiritual counseling you need without shame. I agree with Tamarra Bryant, Literary Wonders Reviews statement, “COMPLETELY WHOLE” is a guide one can refer to over and over again during times of need. Ms. Harper’s grasp of real life and her method of dealing with these situations truly make this guide a learning tool that can be used over and over again”.

Paulette Harper’s book called “Completely Whole” is encouraging and empowering. Her book teaches us about becoming emotionally, spiritually and physically healed by applying the basic principles of the Bible in our life. It gives hope to its readers as it demonstrates that one can overcome the past to live victoriously in the future.

We read in John 5:1-9 of a sick man who had lain at the pool of Bethesda for years, waiting to be healed. As Jesus passed by, He asked the man “Wilt thou be made whole?” The man began to explain all of the reasons that he wasn’t whole and well. Jesus told the man to ‘Rise, take up thy bed, and walk’ and immediately the man was made whole.

Completely Whole” reminds us that God not only wants us to receive the gift of salvation but wants to deliver us from obstacles and bondages so that we can be “whole” in every aspect of our daily lives. Completely Whole demonstrates that the Lord is interested in our problems and He desires that you be not just healed but whole. Whether you are a seasoned person or new believer let God use these pages to assist you in your walk towards wholeness. I highly recommend this book to all the men and women who choose to walk in the abundant life and to be free from the negative past and to walk in victory.
