Season of Thankfulness:(Days 18-20) Think and Thank God (Brag on God)

“O gives thanks unto the Lord, for He is good: for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever”. Psalm 107:1

It’s the Season of Thankfulness. In November think and thank the Lord for his many blessings. This is the 18th Day. What have you been thankful for? Brag on God for 30  days of thanks. Everyday give thanks. Of course we should always give thanks unto the Lord. We should have thankful hearts for the great things God has done in our lives.

God’s command is “In everything give thanks”; and the command is emphasized by the declaration, “For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thess. 5:18, KJV). It is an actual positive command. If we want to obey God, we have simply got to give thanks in everything. There is no getting around it.

So Brag on the King of Kings and the one who loves you unconditionally. Brag on God this month and really everyday give thanks to the Lord. Whatever you can say about Him -Tell Him how good and merciful He has been to you. Give a word of thanks.

Day 18- Brag on God and be Grateful. Tell Him how grateful and thankful you are.

Walter Hawkins Lyrics from Be Grateful
(Be-e-e-e-e-e Grateful) Grateful
(Be-e-e-e-e-e Grateful) Be Grateful
Because there’s someone else who’s worse off than you
Be Grateful (Be Grateful)
Because there’s someone else who’d love to be in your shoes
Be Grateful ( Be Grateful)
Oh yeah!
My God said he’d never, never forsake you!
Be Grateful (Be Grateful) oh yeah!
God said he would, he would never, never forsake you!
Be Grateful (Be Grateful) oh yeah!
Be Grateful Hallelujah!
Oh! Be Grateful
The Lord is the light!

Be Grateful (Be Grateful) Yeah, Yeah
Be Grateful
For everything you got!
Be Grateful (Be Grateful) Yeah, Yeah

Day 19 – Brag on God– Think thankfully. How has God been so good to you? – Thankfully count the ways and say it, TELL it, and post it below.

– O give thanks unto the Lord! Call upon His name; make known his deeds among the people! (1 Chronicle16:8-10)

Day 20 Brag on God and “Think Thankfully”. How many specific thank you can you give Him for all His blessings, benefits, and love? Post some of them.

I will remember the works of the Lord: surely I will remember thy wonders of old. I will meditate also of all thy work, and TALK of thy doings. Psalm 77:11-12

Day 21– Brag on God. Praise Him for His mighty works. Thank Him for everything He has done and DOES for you on a daily basis even in the midst of our mess ups.

It is good to remember that the tea kettle although up to its neck in hot water, continues to sing. (God’s Instruction Book)

Rejoice evermore… In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16, 18

Fervently Thankful,

Season of Thankfulness- Days 15 to 17 of Thinking and Thanking God

This month November Think and Thank the Lord for his many blessings. We have been on bragging on God for 16 days now. During this 30 Day Season of Thankfulness, Brag on God for 30 days of thanks. Everyday give thanks. Of course we should always give thanks unto the Lord. Of course we should have grateful hearts all the time. Giving thanks is remembering what the Lord has done for you and to you, your family and the community. Praise is honoring the Lord for who He is – the Lord of Lords, the everlasting King.

We should have thankful hearts for the great things God has done in our lives.  In Psalm 107 some verses state:

“Let the redeemed of the Lord say so” .Psalm 107:2a

“Oh, that men would praise the Lord for His goodness and loving-kindness and His wonderful works to the children of men! Ps. 107:21

“And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving and rehearse His deeds with shouts of joy and singing! Ps 107: 22

Remember to give thanks unto the Lord for all that He has done. Thank God for his timing and faithfulness in provision. Thank God for His peace. Think about His goodness to you and how He has allowed you to see another day .He has protected you from dangers seen and unseen. He has….

Begin to think and thank the Lord. Think and meditate on his loving kindness to you.  Then begin to thank God and brag on Him.

Brag On God: Think and Thank God (Days 11-13)

A Season of Thankfulness: Brag on God series. Think and Thank God.

Thankfulness is being so full of thanks that you can’t keep it inside! You need to tell someone and that includes telling the Lord. We just have to tell God “Thank You”. “Thank you Lord for all you have done for me.”

Sometimes people confuse praising the Lord with thanking Him.  When we praise the Lord we celebrate Him for who He is. He is Omnipotent. Love.  The Almighty God.  When we thank God, we celebrate Him for what He does.  We praise Him for He is Jehovah-Repheka , God ..Our Healer. We thank Him for healing us.

Join us daily and tell God and us why you thank Him.

Day 11- Brag on God during this Season of Thankfulness – Think and Thank. Think of how you have sooooo much to be thankful for. Thank the Lord. Tell the Lord what you are thankful for. #Seasonofthankfulness #thinkandthankGod #BragonGod
I give you thanks, O LORD, with my whole heart; before the gods I sing your praise. Psalm 138 : 1-2

Now thank the Lord.

Day 13 Brag on God. Think and Thank. Think on all that He has done for you. Thank the Lord for His grace and mercy Praise Him and/or tell him how thankful you are for Him.
Thank Him for the Blood that saves, heals and delivers. I Plead the blood….
We are commanded to enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise (Psalm. 100:4). The giving of thanks and Praise is the key that opens these gates more quickly than anything else. Try it….Tell it.

Thank God fervently,
